The Letter of Interest (LI) is an indication of EXIM Bank's willingness to consider fin ancing a given export trans action. Apply for an

LI during the bidding or neg otiating stage of an export sale when the following c onditions exist: (1) You need an indication from

EXIM Bank on the general eligibility of the trans action participants and the goods and services to be exported and/or (2 ) the

repayment terms an d other program guidelines in the LI provide yo u with specific enough guidance for your transaction.

An online version of this application is available on EXIM's websit e. EXIM strongly encourages customers to a pply through EXIM

Online (EOL), as it will facilitate our review and allow customers a faster respons e time. Additional inform ation about applying for

an EXIM Letter of Interest can be found on EXIM's websi te www.exim.gov.

The review of the Letter of Interest (LI) application includes c omparing the transaction information to EXI M's cover policy and other

basic eligibility criteria. The review also identi fies any potential i ssues that may need to be analyze d in more detail when a final

commitment (AP) application is rev iewed. LIs may be restricted due t o circumstances incl uding, but not limi ted to; country

conditions, econo mic impact, and/or excessive transacti on or exposure am ounts. EXIM may r equest additional i nformation in

connection with an LI appl ication, and issuance of a L etter of Interest is at the sole discretion of EXI M. The LI has a validity perio d

of one year and has an option to renew for an additional year. Please note that a n LI does not represe nt a financing commitm ent

by EXIM.

The Letter of Interest processing fee is $100 and is non-refundable.
