Certification About a Financial Management Course
Official Form 423, which was used to document the completion of a required
course on personal financial management, was discontinued effective
December 1, 2024.
An individual debtor who has completed an instructional course concerning
personal financial management must now file the certificate of course
completion (often called a Certificate of Debtor Education) issued by the
approved provider of that course, if the provider has not notified the court
that the debtor has completed the course. See, Rule 1007(b)(7).
